The Coton Tzu is a hybrid dog, also known as a designer dog. The Coton Tzu is a cross between the Coton De Tulear and the Shih Tzu. It is not always possible to determine the characteristics, temperament or traits of a mixed breed. You will likely find the Coton Tzu has a combination of the characteristics found in both the Coton De Tulear and the Shih Tzu.

Love this designer breed of dog. Had one for 12 years and she was one of the best dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. She past away 5/27/20 and has devastated our family and left a tremendous hole in all of our hearts! We are currently looking for another Coton Tzu, female to adopt.
