Chorkie

The Chorkie is a hybrid dog, also known as a designer dog. The Chorkie is a cross between the Chihuahua and the Yorkshire Terrier. It is not always possible to determine the characteristics, temperament or traits of a mixed breed. You will likely find the Chorkie has a combination of the characteristics found in both the Chihuahua and the Yorkshire Terrier.

Amanda writes, “We have been breeding chorkies for the last couple of years. Here is a picture of JoJo one of our littlest. We us standard yorkshire terrier females for temperment and coat. Our males are small long hair chihuahuas. The end result is a quite, low sheding small dog, perfect for small living spaces. Our dogs wiegh on average 3-5lbs with the occasion teeny tiny guy or gal at 2.5 lbs.”
