Boglen Terrier

The Boglen Terrier is a hybrid dog, also known as a designer dog. The Boglen Terrier is a cross between the Beagle and the Boston Terrier. It is not always possible to determine the characteristics, temperament or traits of a mixed breed. You will likely find the Boglen Terrier has a combination of the characteristics found in both the Beagle and the Boston Terrier.

Kristen and Ron write to us, “We are the proud ‘parents’ of AMY an awesome, friendly and all around wonderful Boglen Terrier. She will be 3 years old in September and she’s been a part of our family since she was 10 weeks old. We know of very few of these dogs in our area but we hope others will see how great and loyal they are. She is relatively healthy ( although a bit overweight ) . She is prone to hive-like allergies in early Spring to mid Summer and we give her 1 Benadryl in a piece of cheese when she has a breakout. She was very smart learning commands from day one but it took a little time for housebreaking. We have 2 cats as well and everyone gets along great. We take her on our boat , daily rides in the car and of course to the dog park. She does great with other dogs but can get jealous of other dogs getting our attention! We never have barking issues, in fact she welcomes all visitors with open paws.”
